His research focuses on educational sociology, comparative education, fundamental educational theory, curriculum, and pedagogy. He is also a doctoral advisor in the fields of comparative education and educational culture and society. Additionally, he holds positions as the Executive Director of the Educational Sociology Branch of the Chinese Education Society, an international member of AERA (American Educational Research Association), an expert consultant for youth development planning in Shanghai, a special commentator for Shanghai university networks, and a review expert for the China Scholarship Council.
Wise, graceful, and calm, when he first began his teaching career, he led by example, nurturing students with passion and care. After becoming a leader at several universities, he pioneered an education model that is both warm and of high quality, continuously empowering the development of new, excellent schools.
